Students who live beyond a certain boundary from the school (generally 3 km or more) may access school bus transportation through Standard Bus. There are two buses in service (orange and purple), with assigned seating and attendance taken morning and afternoon. Advance registration is required for safety/insurance and communication purposes; students cannot ride without being registered, and families submit the form to ecole_passerelle@csf.bc.ca. After registration, bus schedules are communicated directly by the transportation company, and families are asked to review bus safety rules with their child.
Registration is completed online through MyEducation BC (https://myeducation.gov.bc.ca/aspen/logon.do). Families are directed to complete a francophone program membership form and provide required Ministry of Education documents. The school states it accepts registrations at any time during the year. La Passerelle also offers “Tiens-moi la main, j’embarque!” (January to June) to help prepare children who will start Kindergarten the following September; families are asked to contact the school for dates.
