Transportation, Parking, and Getting Here

SD8 provides district busing information, including online student bus registration, bus routes, and a bus code of conduct. The bus code of conduct includes expectations such as arriving at the stop at least five minutes early, staying seated while the bus is in motion, and crossing the road only in front of the stopped bus on the driver’s signal (never behind the bus).

Enrollment

SD8 directs families to use the district registration process, including using the School Locator to find a catchment school, completing the Student Registration Form, and bringing required documentation to the catchment school. For out-of-catchment requests, families must complete a Student Transfer Request Form and submit it to the catchment school for processing. The district also provides information about bus registration and notes that out-of-catchment students are generally not eligible for busing (space may be available on existing routes after eligible riders are seated).
