Breakfast Club Breakfast is available every morning at 8:30am, and the program is sponsored by Breakfast Club of Canada. The school also notes that parent and community volunteers are needed. Hot Lunch The school runs a Hot Lunch Program providing a hot, nutritious meal each day for students and staff, partnering with Ehattesaht and Oclucje as part of “Feeding the Futures.” Families can call the school for more information or to volunteer. Home Reading Club The Home Reading Club encourages students to read at home with family and friends and is a partnership between the Zeballos Literacy Group, ZESS, StrongStart, and Ehatis Youth Centre staff. Student support / special education School District 84 Student Support Services describes a district commitment to inclusion and to supporting student success through a range of supports that can include adapted/modified programs, instructional interventions, and specialized services such as Speech-Language, Physiotherapy, or Occupational Therapy. Families are directed to contact their school with questions about supports. Early learning (StrongStart BC) SD84 operates a StrongStart Outreach Program serving the communities of Zeballos and Tahsis, providing free early learning programming for adults and children aged birth to five.
