The school’s code of conduct emphasizes a safe, caring, and educationally nurturing environment. Students are expected to be safe and respectful, follow adult instructions, do their best work, and respect others and property. The dress code focuses on safety and inclusion and avoids clothing that promotes drugs/alcohol, displays offensive language/images, or encourages discrimination.

Transportation, Parking, and Getting Here

The code of conduct says expectations apply while traveling to and from school as well as at school functions. Families are asked to drop off and meet children outside to encourage student independence. Students using wheeled transportation are expected to walk it on school grounds and at crosswalks, and the school notes supervision ends at 2:45 after dismissal; students are expected to go directly home.

Enrollment

Registration for Comox Valley Schools (SD71) is available online only through MyEducation BC. Families are directed to determine their catchment school using the School Locator, then create/log in to a MyEducation BC account and initiate registration. For French Immersion kindergarten in SD71, families are instructed to complete an Expression of Interest form first and wait for the school to contact them to confirm a spot before registering.
