**Alternative / supportive programs** Glacier View offers several alternate programs, including the Bridgeway Program (Grades 7–9) for students better served by a non-traditional, highly structured setting with a focus on emotional/behavioural support and literacy and numeracy growth. The school also describes Junior, Middle, and Senior Alternate Programs that provide smaller settings and close teacher/educational assistant support, including support for students transitioning between programs. **Student support / wellbeing and special education supports** The school provides a range of supports including educational assistants (EAs) who work with teaching staff to provide individual programming and learning support groups. Student support also includes school counselling and a Youth and Family Support Worker who helps connect families with community supports (including bus pass and food programs). Indigenous student supports include an Indigenous Support Worker and an Elder in Residence (Ni’no x sola) to provide cultural perspective and support student cultural, leadership, and academic growth. A food service worker provides daily breakfast and lunch for students who wish to participate. **Counselling, planning, and referrals** The counselling department lists services such as personal and mental health counselling, substance use support, academic support, course selection, career and post-secondary planning, scholarship/bursary information, study and organizational skills, family consultation, referrals to community resources, and classroom/parent presentations. The school also promotes the erase “Report It” tool for reporting concerns to a safe school coordinator.
