After-school and community programs The Wickaninnish Community School Society (a non-profit) provides after-school and evening programming for the community, with a focus on supporting vulnerable students and youth. Programming includes drop-in lunch programs, afterschool programs, community youth sports, and adult evening recreation opportunities. Food program (breakfast, snacks, lunch) WEPAC operates a school food program from the Wickaninnish Community School kitchen to help ensure all students have access to healthy, scratch-made food while attending school. The program provides breakfast, recess snacks (for K–1), lunch service (with monthly menus), and afterschool snacks for students enrolled in afterschool programs, with a “pay what you can” model.
