Student support / English Language Learning (ELL) UNISUS offers an English Language Learning (ELL) program to support non-native English speakers in academic subjects taught in English. Supports described include differentiated classroom support (“English in the Mainstream”), language acquisition programming, and language extension through small groups or one-on-one tutoring, with additional learning support available inside and outside the classroom. World languages UNISUS teaches Spanish as the second language for students, and also describes additional language options such as French and Mandarin in Grades 11–12 through the Pamoja platform (additional cost). International Baccalaureate (IB) and pathways UNISUS is an IB World School with the IB Diploma Programme (Grades 11–12) and also offers pathways to graduation that include an enriched British Columbia Dogwood Diploma and opportunities to earn an IB Diploma alongside the BC diploma.
