Families must register yearly, pay required fees through School Cash Online, and complete the district’s bus registration process (the district does not register by phone). Bus service is only for registered riders, uses bus passes, and does not provide transportation to after-school activities or to locations other than the student’s home address(es); riders are expected to follow the School Bus Riders Code of Conduct.

The school references ERASE—“Expect Respect and A Safe Education”—and the district notes that bus riders must comply with the School Bus Riders Code of Conduct to maintain bus service registration.

Transportation, Parking, and Getting Here

The district transportation department operates school bus routes serving Naramata and other communities in SD67. Eligibility is based on walk limits (Grades K–7: more than 2.5 km from the catchment school; Grades 8–12: more than 3.2 km). Families must register and pay a registration fee via School Cash Online, then complete the online bus registration form; only registered riders may board, bus passes are required, and students are assigned runs based on their home address on file. The district does not provide busing to after-school activities, friends’ homes, or daycares.

Enrollment

Families new to the Naramata Elementary catchment area are directed to call the school office to discuss registering their child. Students new to British Columbia (from another province) must first visit the Education Secretary at the School Board Office (425 Jermyn Avenue, Penticton) and provide required documentation.
