School bus service is managed through the Sooke School District (SD62) Transportation Department, and families must register for bus transportation each year (registration does not reserve a seat). Eligibility is based on district policy (including age and distance to the catchment school), and students riding the bus are expected to follow the School Bus Rules and the Student Code of Conduct while on the bus and while waiting at/near the stop. For route delays or cancellations, SD62 communicates through email alerts and website updates (and phone recordings in emergencies).
The school website includes a Registration section and a Catchment page that directs families to use the district’s School Locator tool to determine which schools are attended by residents of a given address.
