Learning Commons The Journey Learning Commons links to a dedicated Learning Commons website and provides learning resources for teachers, students, and parents (e.g., databases and research tools). Music / Band Journey offers multiple music options including Concert Band, an Orchestra (Strings) program, Drumline, and a Community Band. Athletics and extracurricular sports Academies Journey offers a Hockey Academy that runs during the regular timetable in place of the Physical Education block; registration is completed through SD62 Academy Registration. Student support / special education Inclusive Education includes school counselling support focused on students’ social, emotional, behavioural, and academic development, with services offered in individualized, group, and classroom-wide formats. The SD62 Middle School Code of Conduct emphasizes maintaining a safe and caring community free from bullying, harassment, intimidation, discrimination, violence, theft, and vandalism. Expectations include effort and regular attendance, respecting others and property, following classroom expectations, wearing appropriate clothing, appropriate use of school computers/internet/cell phones, and staying on campus throughout the day.
