Math support For students who are struggling in math, KCA notes it uses Nelson Leaps and Bounds, tailoring instruction using multiple data sources (e.g., pre-testing, observations, diagnostic tasks, and IEP accommodations/modifications) and conducting post-testing later in the year. Missions / service learning The school describes an annual Grade 9 mission trip to Ensenada, Mexico (in partnership with Yugo Ministries) where students help build a home for a local family in need, with preparation during the school year that includes fundraising and spiritual preparation.
