**StrongStart Centre** Pineridge hosts a StrongStart Centre for children ages 3–5 (and younger) with parents/guardians, focused on a literacy- and play-enriched environment. StrongStart uses school spaces such as the gym and library and often joins school assemblies. **After School Activities Program** The school shares an Activities Coordinator with other district schools and runs an after-school program two days per week. Students can sign up for a variety of activities, with the goal of increasing involvement in community and other activities. **Lunch program** Pineridge participates in the district lunch program. Students receive a monthly menu and lunches are delivered daily to the school and to students’ classes. **Student support / self-regulation and behaviour support** The school uses the Restitution philosophy to support students in making choices and fixing mistakes, alongside the Zones of Regulation framework. Students receive instruction in the Zones of Regulation, with continued support through classes, assemblies, and announcements. **Child care (before/after school)** Westview Child Care Centre operates before- and after-school care in the StrongStart room.
