Music / Band Upper Lynn families can access the district’s Elementary Band & Strings Program, a school-based instrumental music program for intermediate grades (Band: Grades 5–7; Strings: Grades 4–7) that complements BC’s Arts Education curriculum. Library / Learning Commons The school has a Virtual Learning Commons and an online library catalogue (Destiny Discover) for browsing the collection. Students are encouraged to borrow books during weekly library times, with borrowing guidelines and support from the teacher-librarian. Student support / counselling Upper Lynn shares a school counsellor with Cleveland Elementary. The counsellor describes a focus on building relationships with students, staff, and families, and supporting children through a strong community approach.
