Programs and Services

Library services The school has a library program with circulation procedures by grade level and options for families to borrow books using their child’s library account. Students in grades 3–7 can also access their library accounts online to view the collection, place holds, and check due dates. Student leadership / volunteering Grade 6 and 7 students can volunteer as library shelvers, helping with shelving, shelf checking, and displays during open library times or at lunch. The library also welcomes volunteers to support library operations and events such as the Scholastic Book Fair. Music / Band Queensbury families are directed to the district’s Elementary Band & Strings Program, which provides school-based instrumental instruction for intermediate grades (Band for Grades 5–7 and Strings for Grades 4–7).

School Culture and Expectations

The school highlights the motto “Learn, Share & Grow.” Students who arrive late are expected to report to the office to receive a late slip, and students leaving during the day must sign out at the office.
