Programs and Services

Music / Band Canyon Heights offers Band programs for students in Grades 5–7, with classes on Tuesdays and Fridays. The North Vancouver School District’s Elementary Band and Strings Program provides school-based instrumental ensemble instruction (Band for Grades 5–7; Strings for Grades 4–7) and complements BC’s Arts Education curriculum. Fine Arts Fine Arts—through exploration of music and drama—are studied throughout the year at Canyon Heights. Library The school has a library supported by a Teacher-Librarian. Student support / counselling Canyon Heights has a school counsellor (available on Tuesdays and every other Monday); families are encouraged to contact the counsellor by email.
