School Culture and Expectations

The school states a commitment to being a place where all children are included and supported to achieve their potential. Families are encouraged to foster student independence by saying goodbye outside and having students enter through the doors closest to their classrooms. During recess and lunch, the school expects students to play outside even in inclement weather, so students should be dressed appropriately. Lunch at school is described as a privilege; students who do not follow rules and behavioural expectations may be asked to go home for lunch, and students staying for lunch must remain on school property.

Transportation, Parking, and Getting Here

Parents are encouraged to say goodbye outside the school and have children enter on their own through the doors closest to their classrooms. Families are asked to arrange a meeting place for pick-up at the end of the day. The school notes there is no supervision on the playground before school (students should arrive shortly before the morning bell) and no supervision after the end-of-day bell; parents are responsible for supervision at dismissal.
