Athletics and extracurricular sports - The school offers an interschool athletics program as part of the Coquitlam Middle School Athletic Association (CMSAA). Students are asked to complete an athletic registration form and pay an athletic fee through SchoolCash Online (families can contact the principal if the fee is a hardship). Sports listed include Swim Team, Cross Country, Field Hockey, Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, Rugby, and Track & Field. Student support / counselling Our school counselling program provides consulting, coordinating, counselling and educational services for students, parents, teachers and administrators. Supports focus on social, emotional, and developmental needs, and include crisis response, parent/staff consultation, and teacher in-service. The counsellor is on-site Mondays and Wednesdays all day, and Thursday afternoons; a youth worker is on-site every day.

The school encourages walking, biking, carpooling, public transit, and reviewing the school’s Transportation Safety document.
