Library / Literacy and research skills Glen School Library’s mission is to promote and support literacy and a love of reading, and to support the teaching of information fluency so students can access, evaluate, and use information effectively and ethically as independent lifelong learners. Students and families can also access the library’s online catalogue and district electronic learning resources. Athletics and extracurricular sports Leadership / student roles Glen offers leadership opportunities such as Office Monitoring for Grade 5 students (with training provided) and a Peace Squad for nominated Grade 4–5 students who help younger students resolve conflict peacefully and find friends or activities at lunch.
