Programs and Services

Student support / special education Bramblewood’s student services team (teachers, support staff, counsellors, and administrators) develops strategies and programs for students with special learning needs and can refer students to specific district services. Services listed include counselling, ESL, gifted programming, Learning Assistance, a Learning Resource Program (adaptations/modifications to curriculum), and a Skill Development Program for low-incidence special needs (including IEP development). Counselling The district funds and supports a school counselling program that provides consulting, coordinating, counselling, and educational services. Supports focus on social, emotional, and developmental needs, and may include crisis response, parent consultation, and individual, group, or classroom support. Food / lunch programs The PAC organizes monthly hot lunches and other lunch-day fundraisers (e.g., popcorn, freezie days, pizza days), using an online ordering system (Munch A Lunch). A separate, non-PAC option (“Lunch Lady”) is also referenced.
