Transportation, Parking, and Getting Here

The school notes that traffic congestion and unsafe driver behaviour around the school (including the rear parking lot and front drive-through lane) have been ongoing safety concerns, especially at pick-up time. The front driveway is a designated no stopping/no parking zone, and (as of Nov. 1, 2017) it is closed to through traffic during drop-off and pick-up times except for vehicles displaying valid handicap permits. The rear parking lot (off 118th) includes designated staff parking stalls reserved for staff at all times, plus marked handicap stalls intended for use when a student requiring the permit is being picked up/dropped off. To help keep the area safer, the school suggests parking away from the school and walking (noting that 118th has wide sidewalks), using designated crosswalks, not blocking crosswalks, and not letting children out on the driver/traffic side of the vehicle.

Kindergarten registration information is provided via the district and begins in January (for the referenced school year). Families are directed to learn about registration phases and the online registration process at https://www.sd42.ca/kindergarten-registration/.
