StrongStart Learning Centre Blue Mountain Elementary works with School District No. 42 (with BC government support) to offer a free StrongStart Learning Centre program for parents/caregivers and children from birth to five years old. The program includes activities such as story time, circle time, free play, arts, early literacy, and information sharing, and is located at Garibaldi Secondary School (entrance by gym doors). Family engagement / PAC The school has a Parent Advisory Council (PAC) focused on supporting education and contributing to school community, including two-way communication between home and school and input on topics such as safety, emergency preparedness, and fundraising. The PAC’s support helps provide resources and support access to field trips.
