French Immersion Laity View offers French Immersion instruction from Kindergarten to Grade 7. Childcare / after-school care (Active Kids Club) The Active Kids Club (AKC) is a licensed after-school program offered in partnership with School District 42 and staffed by trained City of Maple Ridge employees. It provides supervision for students in grades K–7 and offers safe, fun, active, and inclusive activities that support play, fitness, imagination, and curiosity. Student support / learning services and wellness supports The school’s Code of Conduct references a support team that includes education assistants, support teachers, counsellors, youth workers, learning services staff, and administrators who help teach behaviour and communicate with families. Library The school has a library program where students sign out books during class book exchanges, with typical return expectations outlined in school procedures.

Transportation, Parking, and Getting Here

During morning drop-off and after-school pick-up times, the staff parking lot is closed to parent parking; families are asked to park in the neighbourhood and walk, or use the Westview overflow parking lot on 123rd Avenue. The school reminds drivers not to park along yellow curbs, not to stop in the drive-through or bus lanes, to remain in vehicles in the drop-off/pick-up zone, and to use the passenger side for unloading. Families are also asked not to block neighbours’ driveways and to exercise caution during busy traffic times.
