Lakeview’s Code of Conduct is designed to maintain a safe, caring, and healthy learning environment, and applies at school, while traveling to and from school, and at any school function. The school community is expected to support learning, promote safety, respect property and personal space/privacy, and model courtesy, compassion, and respect. Unacceptable behaviours include bullying/harassment/intimidation/violence, interfering with others’ learning, threatening language (including online), bringing weapons (including replicas), and unsafe/illegal acts. The school notes that issues will be addressed whenever possible through discussion, mediation, and restitution, with a range of consequences if safety or learning is compromised.
