The school highlights regular weekly fine-arts lessons, performances/showcases, and opportunities such as Artist-in-Residence programs. **Dance** Students explore dance for self-expression and skill development, with an emphasis on independent and cooperative learning in a safe, “risk-taking” environment and interdisciplinary connections. **Drama** Students build skills such as improvisation, role-play, and performance (e.g., voice, movement, body awareness, eye contact) through activities including public speaking, reader’s theatre, puppet shows, and storytelling. **Music** Students participate through singing, movement, body percussion, and instrument playing (Orff approach), including improvising, composing, and performing. Instruments mentioned include hand chimes, Orff instruments, taiko drums, and recorder. **Visual Art** Students work with varied media in weekly art-studio experiences, study art history, develop personal style, and reflect/respond to different art forms; projects are integrated with other curricular areas or themes.
