Early French Immersion / Programs of Choice Early French Immersion is offered at École Lord Tweedsmuir. The district notes that access to programs of choice is by application and that there are annual parent information nights. Indigenous Education The school’s Indigenous Education program supports the academic and social success of Aboriginal students and provides cultural experiences for students. The school has an Aboriginal Support Worker who supports Aboriginal learners and shares Aboriginal culture in the school. The school encourages safe walking practices and provides guidance for planning a safe route to school. Visitors are asked to call ahead to make an appointment and must sign in at the office and wear a visitor tag while on site.
