Transportation, Parking, and Getting Here

Richmond School District provides school bus transportation for eligible students and limited courtesy riders, following Board Policy 520. Eligibility includes living more than 4.0 km away for Kindergarten–Grade 3 and more than 4.8 km away for Grades 4–12 (measured by the nearest passable road). Students with physical or mental disabilities that prevent safe travel may also qualify for transportation assistance, determined by the superintendent’s office with medical advice. Families apply online; bus schedules are emailed to families one week before school starts in September. Transportation Department: 604-668-7838, transportation@sd38.bc.ca (hours: 6 a.m.–4:30 p.m. on school days).
