Student support / English Language Learning (ELL) The school offers an English as a Second Language (ELL) program designed to help students become proficient in English while supporting academic and cultural development, with the goal of integrating students into the mainstream school program as soon as feasible. Supports are based on assessed needs and may include adaptations to instruction and assessment. Kindergarten Language Enhancement Language Enhancement is described as a full-day Kindergarten program focused on extended opportunities for developing English literacy skills (oral language, early reading and writing). Students attend regular English Kindergarten at their home school and, in addition, attend the Language Enhancement program. Interpretation / Multicultural Services Multicultural workers provide interpretation for students, parents, and schools, and assist with academic and cultural integration; families are directed to contact the office for more information.
