Programs and Services

"Mental health and wraparound programs" Education Services offers a range of specialized programs for students who are vulnerable or at risk, including supports connected to mental health, transition planning, and alternative pathways. "Adolescent Day Treatment / Hospital-based programs" ADTP (Adolescent Day Treatment Program) is a provincial resource program run in partnership with Fraser Health; students are referred through Child and Youth Mental Health clinicians or a psychiatrist, with Fraser Health assessing suitability and the district coordinating academics and future placements. APU (Adolescent Psychiatric Unit) is a provincial resource program operating within the Adolescent Psychiatric Unit at Surrey Memorial Hospital, with admission through the hospital process (no district referral process). "Transition supports" STEP (Surrey Transition & Education Program) is a collaboration with the district’s Safe Schools Department, with referrals coming from the WRAP team overseen by Safe Schools. "Therapeutic supports" Art Therapy is offered as a partnership between Surrey Schools and Adler University.
