Music / Choir The school highlights Choir as an extracurricular opportunity for students. Athletics and extracurricular sports The school notes a “wide range of sports” as part of its extracurricular offerings, but does not list specific sports. Student activities / academic enrichment The school highlights a Spelling Bee as an extracurricular opportunity for students.
The school emphasizes excellence in learning “both human and divine,” and aims to educate the whole child—spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically—in partnership with parents, parish, and the wider community. It states a commitment to a safe, welcoming, inclusive environment that upholds each child’s uniqueness and dignity. The school recognizes every person’s right to be free from discrimination, harassment, abuse, and violence, and notes it follows CISVA policies including parent and student codes of conduct and anti-bullying/harassment policies.
For morning drop-off, students should be dropped off either (1) in designated areas near the parish hall/vehicle exit for cars coming from the parish parking lot toward the school, or (2) from a car parked in a marked stall in the school or parish parking lots. Families are asked not to stop in front of the school to pick up or drop off children. For afternoon pick-up, the pickup zone in front of the school is only for parents who have parked in the lots; drivers should move slowly and use an alternating “stop and go” procedure when exiting where two lanes meet at the corner of the parish hall.
As part of the admissions process, the principal meets with each new family, and the pastor, a PEC member, and the principal decide whether the school can meet the student’s needs and whether the family and student can meet the school’s requirements. The school publishes priority-of-admittance guidelines (CISVA policy) and notes that application forms can be downloaded or picked up from the school or parish office.
