Student support / inclusive education Surrey School District’s Student Support team works with school teams, parents, and community partners to create supportive, inclusive, and caring learning communities—especially for students with exceptional learning needs. Supports include coordinating specialized services for individual needs, educational planning, professional learning for staff, and providing learning resources. Clubs, sports & extra-curricular Students are invited to participate in a variety of activities throughout the school year, including school-based options and events (meets, games, or play days) with other Surrey schools. The school notes appreciation for support from coaches, teachers, volunteers, parents, and drivers.
The district Student Support team emphasizes inclusive, equitable, and meaningful educational experiences for all students, with a focus on embracing diversity, collaboration among professionals, and early, least-intrusive intervention where possible.
Families register online through Surrey Schools. The district provides guidance on required documents, how to find your catchment school, and a district School Registration page. For district Programs of Choice kindergarten lottery applications (e.g., Early French Immersion, Montessori, Traditional and others), families are directed to register at their local catchment school first and then apply through the online lottery application process.
