Programs and Services

Student support / special education Surrey Schools’ Student Support (Inclusive Education) team works with school teams, parents, and community partners to create supportive, inclusive, and caring learning communities, with a focus on students who have exceptional learning needs. Supports span early learning through Grade 12 and include coordinating specialized supports, educational planning, professional learning for staff, and providing learning resources. Clubs, sports & extra-curricular Harold Bishop students are invited to participate in a variety of activities throughout the school year; some are school-based and others involve meets, games, or play days with other Surrey schools.

Enrollment

Surrey and White Rock elementary registration is completed online through the district. Families are directed to the district’s registration resources (required documents and finding your catchment school) and to contact their neighbourhood school with questions. For district “Programs of Choice” kindergarten lotteries, families are instructed to register at their local catchment school first, then submit an online lottery application through the district during the application window.
