Langley Environmental Awareness Program (L.E.A.P.) Fort Langley is a site for the Langley Environmental Awareness Program (Kindergarten entry to Grade 6), which is a District “Program of Choice” that requires an application and an additional step in the application process. Student support / special education Langley School District provides Student Support Services focused on safe, caring, and compassionate learning environments, including school safety, emergency preparedness, critical incident response, mental health support, student intervention, and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. The District also provides Learning Support Services (Pre K–12) such as inclusion support, school psychology, speech and language services, occupational therapy and physiotherapy, support for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, support for students with visual impairments, and hospital/homebound services.

Transportation, Parking, and Getting Here

The Langley School District uses an online registration process for school bus service, with eligibility based on home-to-school distance calculations (elementary walk limits referenced as 3.2 km). Families can email transportation@sd35.bc.ca for help, and the District notes that response times may be longer during peak periods. Transportation is also addressed for riders with diverse abilities (students approved for Complex Resource Support or with physical disabilities who cannot navigate conventional transportation) and International Student Program riders (through homestay coordinators).

Enrollment

Families applying to District “Programs of Choice” (application required) can apply for programs including the Langley Environmental Awareness Program (L.E.A.P.) at Fort Langley, and the District directs families to its choice program registration information and the APOC site to check application status.
