Programs and Services

After-school programs Afternoon Adventures is an after-school program for Robertson families with students in Grade 4. It is facilitated by volunteers from Chilliwack Alliance Church and is described as providing a safe, fun, and productive environment for families who cannot afford traditional after-school programs. Early learning / preschool SD33 JustB4 Preschool information and the request form are provided through the district early learning website. Family support services An Early Years Family Navigator is available at Robertson Elementary every Tuesday as a drop-in service. Library / reading Students can search the library catalogue from home using the Destiny database, and the school runs a “Super Reader Home Reading” program that encourages students to read 15 minutes daily and track reading days.

School Culture and Expectations

The school asks families to support safe arrival and dismissal routines, including having students arrive close to the entry bell and meeting children outside at dismissal. Students are expected to wait outside until the entry bell, and the school requests students not use the front door for regular entry/exit (except when arriving late).

Transportation, Parking, and Getting Here

The school strongly encourages students to walk or ride due to morning and end-of-day traffic congestion. Parent parking is not accommodated, and families who drive for drop-off/pick-up are asked to follow the traffic pattern and review parking lot safety information. Supervision begins at 8:05 a.m., and the school suggests students not arrive prior to 8:10 a.m.; students are expected to wait outside until the entry bell.
