School Culture and Expectations

During instructional hours, the school asks all visitors (including for volunteering and early pick-ups) to sign in at the office, and it asks families not to bypass the office and go directly to classrooms. For early pick-ups, families are asked to sign students out at the office and wait there unless given permission to go to the classroom. The school also reminds families that students must have clean indoor shoes for classroom and gym use, and to dress for outdoor play in winter weather.

Transportation, Parking, and Getting Here

For drop-off and pick-up, the school asks families to park only in designated “visitor” spots and not to leave vehicles in the drop-off/pick-up lane. The school is an Idle Free Zone and asks drivers to turn off vehicles while waiting. Families are asked not to use staff parking spots for pick-up/drop-off, to enter the parking lot from the East end and exit from the West end, and to always use crosswalks. The school also requests that children not arrive before supervision begins (8:09/8:10am), unless supervised by an adult or attending Breakfast Club.

Enrollment

The school’s reminders include a link for kindergarten registration through the district’s online form system and also point families to the district registration page for StrongStart registration.
