Programs and Services

Student support / special education The district provides Student Support Services for students with special needs, including intellectual, learning, physical, sensory, and emotional/behavioural needs, as well as students with exceptional gifts or talents. Support Services staff help schools develop effective in-school supports, conduct assessments, consult with families and staff, participate in school-based team meetings, and assist with creating Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
