Programs and Services

Transportation (school bus service) Families can apply for school bus transportation through Central Okanagan Public Schools Transportation Services. Students must be registered on a route to ride, will be issued a bus pass to scan when boarding/exiting, and only registered riders may ride (no guest passengers). The district also provides bus safety rules (e.g., arrive at the stop 10 minutes early, remain seated, and follow the driver’s safe crossing signal). Parent Advisory Council (PAC) / Hot lunch The school website links to a PAC Hot Lunch website and to School Cash Online.

Transportation, Parking, and Getting Here

District transportation guidance includes school bus rider rules and student safety expectations: arrive at the bus stop 10 minutes before scheduled pickup; stay seated and keep aisles clear; no food or drinks other than a water bottle; and follow driver instructions for safe loading/unloading and street crossing (cross in front only when red alternating lights are flashing and the driver signals it is safe). Parents/guardians are responsible for student safety getting to/from the bus stop and are encouraged to plan walking routes and review pedestrian safety.

Enrollment

Central Okanagan Public Schools provides an online enrolment process: families are directed to find their catchment school, watch the enrolment application tutorial, and complete the online enrolment application. The district lists required documentation (proof of age/citizenship and proof of B.C. residency/address) and notes that some newcomers and international students must work through the Welcome Centre/International Education office before registering.
