Student support / counselling Quigley Elementary offers counselling support for students and families. School bus transportation is provided through Central Okanagan Public Schools Transportation Services, with online applications required for bus service and a bus pass issued to registered riders. Families are advised that students should be at the bus stop 10 minutes before pickup, remain seated while the bus is moving, and follow safety rules when loading/unloading (including only crossing in front of the bus when red alternating lights are flashing and the driver signals it is safe). The district notes that only registered riders may be transported and no guest passengers are permitted.
Families enroll through Central Okanagan Public Schools by finding their catchment school and completing the district’s enrolment application online. After applying, families must provide required documentation (such as proof of the student’s age and proof of B.C. residency and address) to the school. Some students (e.g., landed immigrant/permanent resident/refugee status or parents with work visas) must first visit the district Welcome Centre to receive an enrollment code before an application can be completed.
