Programs and Services

**Transportation (school bus service)** District Transportation Services provides school bus routes across Lake Country, Kelowna, West Kelowna, and Peachland, with annual route reviews and an online application process. Riders must be registered on a route, use a bus pass (scanned when boarding/exiting), and follow bus safety rules (including staying seated, keeping the aisle clear, and no guest riders). **Student wellbeing / safe & inclusive schools** The school website links families to Anti-Racism resources and the ERASE Bullying program.

School Culture and Expectations

The school’s motto is “Where Kindness Grows.” The school website also points families to Anti-Racism resources and the ERASE Bullying program.

Transportation, Parking, and Getting Here

School bus transportation is managed by SD23 Transportation Services. Students are expected to arrive at the bus stop 10 minutes early, follow rider rules (remain seated, keep aisles clear, no loud behavior), and only registered riders may ride (no guest riders). Safety guidance includes crossing only in front of the bus when red alternating lights are flashing and the driver gives the signal, and never crossing behind the bus; families are responsible for student safety getting to and from the stop. Transportation fees are applied through School Cash Online once a seat is assigned, with payment arrangements required within 30 days.

Enrollment

Families enroll through Central Okanagan Public Schools by finding their catchment school and completing the district’s enrolment application. After submitting the application, families must provide documentation (proof of age/citizenship, B.C. residency, and living address) to the school; some immigration-related statuses require processing through the Welcome Centre before registration. The district also notes that Kindergarten is full-day, and provides information about placement priorities and options such as French Immersion (district information link).
