Central Okanagan Public Schools (SD23) provides bus transportation across Lake Country, Kelowna, West Kelowna, and Peachland, with routes designed for eligible students attending their English catchment school. Families must submit an online transportation application; students must be registered on a route to ride and will be issued a bus pass that is scanned when boarding/exiting. Applications are accepted year-round, but those received by the district deadline are prioritized; bus stop/route information is typically shared in late August. Payments are managed through School Cash Online once fees are applied.
To enroll in Central Okanagan Public Schools (SD23), families are directed to find their catchment school, watch the enrolment application tutorial, and submit an online enrolment application. After completing the online application, families must bring ID and proof of residence to the school to finish the process. SD23 outlines required documentation (e.g., proof of age/citizenship and BC residency/address) and notes that some newcomers (e.g., permanent resident/refugee/work visa families) may need an enrollment code through the Welcome Centre before applying.
