Transportation, Parking, and Getting Here

Central Okanagan Public Schools (SD23) provides bus transportation and requires families to submit an online transportation application; students must be registered on a route to ride and will be issued a bus pass (scanned when boarding/exiting). Students are expected to follow bus rider safety rules (for example: arrive at the stop 10 minutes early, remain seated, keep aisles clear, no guest riders, and no food/drinks besides a personal water bottle). Families are reminded that it is the parent’s responsibility to ensure their child’s safety getting to/from the bus stop, and students should only cross in front of the bus when red alternating lights are flashing and the driver gives the signal.

Enrollment

Kindergarten registration is completed online through the district’s School Enrolment page (sd23.bc.ca/school-enrollment). The district enrollment process includes finding your catchment school, completing the online enrolment application, and providing required documentation (such as proof of age/citizenship and B.C. residency/address) to the school after applying.
