Transportation (school bus) School District No. 23 provides student transportation services, including an online bus application process, assigned routes with bus-pass scanning, and safety expectations for riders.

Transportation, Parking, and Getting Here

For district school bus transportation, families must submit an online transportation application; students must be registered on a route to ride, and only registered riders may be transported (no guest riders). Students are expected to follow bus safety rules such as arriving about 10 minutes early, staying seated while the bus is moving, keeping the aisle clear, and only crossing in front of the bus when red lights are flashing and the driver signals it is safe. Food and beverages are not permitted on the bus (other than a personal water bottle).

Enrollment

Central Okanagan Public Schools (SD23) directs families to enroll by: finding their catchment school, viewing the enrolment application tutorial, and completing the district enrolment application online. Required documentation is submitted to the school after completing the application (proof of age/citizenship and proof of B.C. residency/address are listed on the district enrolment page).
