Programs and Services

School meal programs (breakfast & lunch) The school offers a healthy breakfast option for students who would like extra food before school starts, and a brown bag lunch program available Monday to Thursday. It also participates in the Starfish Program, which provides a weekly grocery bag of food to families who need support; families can contact the office (Jenny Inkster) to participate. Child care (preschool & after-school) BGC Okanagan offers licensed Preschool and After School Care programs at Alexis Park, with registration available via vernon@bgco.ca.

Transportation, Parking, and Getting Here

Students who ride the bus must be registered with Transportation (250-549-9281; office hours 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.). The school shares bus safety expectations, including crossing in front of the bus after exiting, staying seated facing forward until the bus stops, and keeping heads/hands inside the bus windows. District transportation information notes that registered riders receive a bus pass to scan on/off daily, and families can use the Traversa My Ride K-12 app/website for real-time bus information and scan notifications.
