Transportation, Parking, and Getting Here

Students who require transportation must complete a school bus registration form. District transportation uses bus passes that students scan on and off daily, and students must be registered to ride. Bus service is designed primarily for in-catchment students outside the 2.4 km walk limits, and courtesy rides may be available on scheduled routes if there is space; bussing is not guaranteed to out-of-catchment schools. Families can use the Traversa My Ride K-12 app/website to view real-time bus information and receive scan notifications, delays, or cancellation updates.

Enrollment

For new student registrations and transfers, families are directed to first confirm their catchment using the district School Locator. Families then submit an online form to request a registration package by email. The school requests documentation for registration (proof of residence and government-issued ID as outlined), and families registering after the listed deadline are instructed to email oklanding@sd22.bc.ca with the student’s name, grade, address within catchment, expected start date, and (if applicable) previous city/school.
