Library and technology Columbia Park Elementary offers an up-to-date library, and students use devices such as laptops and iPads to support and complement learning. Music / Band The school offers arts education, including Band for students in Grades 6 and 7. Physical Education The physical education program is enhanced through both curricular and extracurricular activities. Student support / counselling The district elementary counsellor provides direct counselling services to students and families; families are encouraged to contact the principal or their child’s teacher if they feel counselling support would be helpful. Student nutrition School District #19 runs a free breakfast program every school day in each school, intended to provide nutritious food to any student who needs it; the program is open to anyone, anytime. Health and well-being SD19 partners with Interior Health and the Health Promoting Schools program, which aims to enhance well-being for students, staff, parents, and community partners and shares health information via newsletters.
